Three Summers 2017 – Movie Review – Must watch for all Australia!

I don’t like to reveal too much with my movie reviews, going in to a movie blind is so much more fun, I mean you are going to watch the whole movie anyway so why watch bits of it beforehand. This movie is a MUST WATCH for all of Australia, whether you are living here or visiting, you will get a bit of a kick out of it. Fine Australian comedy, good characters and all with a social/political edge to bring up conversation.

You are definitely UNAUSTRALIAN if you don’t watch this movie!

Same Sex Marriage Plebiscite – Federal Government Report Card D-

It’s like I’ve wasted alot of my energy on this, and I’m sure many people have been equally frustrated. Traditional values vs now. Evolve or die is what they say isn’t it?

Traditional values are great if you understand them properly. Many marriages are loveless, children are born not of love but of tradition, convenience and money. What kind of a world are we creating?

The Circle 2017 – Movie Talk and Review: If you like tech it’s worth a watch

Finally I’m doing a movie review – yes I love movies and I do watch a lot of them. These are not your regular movie reviews about the plot, characters etc. I just tell you if you should watch it or not and have some discussion about it.

I was given a free ticket to watch this at the cinema, so why not! I had a quick look at the trailer, less than a minute of it, and I thought this looks interesting. I don’t like to know too much about a movie sometimes, just go and watch. If you are into tech then I would recommend watching it, there is enough content there to keep you interested.

If Bernie Sanders is not elected president…. We will take him as Prime Minister of Australia

This would be true democracy at work, I believe we could rally the majority of Australian voters to vote for Bernie Sanders to be our next Prime Minister.

In the past we have headhunted people from around the world to be CEO’s of our iconic company’s. We should be able to do this. Let’s get the best for Australia, we shouldn’t have to settle less.

Bernie Sanders has the political experience, he’s not into fear mongering, he holds a B. Arts degree in Political Science and has great core values – inclusiveness, responsibility – so many pluses and much more qualified than our current candidates, and I’m sure they would agree too. He is smart man with global values, so I am confident that he would get his head around Australian issues.

I would challenge other countries to see if they feel the same about this man as their political leader.

We’ve always followed in the USA’s footsteps, I mean it’s all hinging on him not being elected in the US and I do hope this positive international attention gets back to the US and raises his profile, but let’s grab something of theirs and make it our own. Let’s all get behind Bernie, we’ll invite him over for a cuppa, show him a bit of hospitality, he won’t want to leave!

We want Bernie, We want Bernie!

Did you ever have this type of dream when you were a child?

I can still remember a recurring nightmare that I had when I was a child. I don’t experience the dream anymore, but the memory of how I felt at the time still remains. You can help me see if there is a pattern with this type of dream, and how many children have had this type of a dream.

Video Transcript

Hello and welcome to Good For You Living. Today’s video I want to share something that is quite intimate, the thoughts I had when my mind was young.

I want to share this for two reasons, to see if people have had the same thoughts when they were younger and were never expressed it. And the second reason is to say that thoughts and ideas of a young mind are valid and we should listen and pay closer attention to them.

When I was about 5 years old I had a really vivid recurring nightmare. I can still remember it and remember how I felt about the dream. It was quite frightening at the time and I didn’t really tell anyone as it was a dream and I didn’t understand what dreams were, I mean they were just there.

My dreams involved me playing outside of my house by myself, then all of a sudden being taken away from my family, what felt like being sold to these new people. The feeling was terrifying and the many nights following I did not look forward to going to sleep as the dreams would return.

It wasn’t til much later in life that I was talking with a friend and they said they had experienced the same kind of dream when they were very young. Same kind of scenario, them having the same kind of feelings and it being a recurring nightmare.

Theirs differed to mine in that my perpetrators were HR Puff and Stuff,
Yes that big old orange fella was a cruel baby snatcher. For many years after I could not watch the TV program. It was probably the witch that was the scary thing for me – but it was definitely HR that took me away.

So many many more years later I believe that I’ve come up with a theory and I want to reach out to see others if they have, I want to reach out to others to see if they have experienced the same and see if there is a pattern.

Now every child will experience separation anxiety from their mother and parents, it’s natural. from the womb and direct physical connection to being out in the air breathing environment, it’s completely foreign.

Most go through their separation anxiety really early after birth spanning so many months or years. It’s mainly expressed in crying and wanting of proximity. And I believe many will have experienced it the same way I did as well through dreams.

Do you think it’s related? The separation anxiety and the dreams.

I am really interested in the dreams that you’ve had and what country you were living in at the time and the history of that country. And if there is a connection between dreams and history.

Well I hope this has been good for you – please visit my website goodforyouliving.com send me your thoughts, leave a comment, subscribe and remember living is good for you.

Math in the Real World

At school, the general consensus on the subject of mathematics was agony and frustration. Here is my view on the matter, which will hopefully break down those barriers for you and battle through some arduous, repetitive arithmetic and tough problem solving and see a light at the end of the tunnel, as we answer the question “What is maths used for in the real world?” Continue reading
